David Hardy is the Managing Director of John Laing Social Infrastructure. David joined the Group in June 2005 from KPMG where he was a Corporate Finance Partner responsible for its Social Infrastructure PFI/PPP advisory services business. A Chartered Accountant, David has over 15 years experience in Corporate Finance and ten years in PFI where he has completed deals in the acute health, primary care, education, waste and local government accommodation sectors.
Andrew is Finance Director of John Laing Social Infrastructure. Andrew joined the Group in 2003. Previously he was the Finance Director of the Services Division of Ballast plc, where he also looked after all the PFI and FM activities for the group.
Ian is a Director of John Laing Social Infrastructure with responsibility for all operational (i.e. post financial close) projects. He also has business wide risk management responsibility. He has held a number of senior posts within the Group including, Director for NHS LIFT, Group Treasurer and Finance Director of the rail business. Ian has been with the Group since 1980 and is a member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
David is a Director of John Laing Social Infrastructure, responsible for business development. David joined the Group in 2002. He established Primary Plus as one of the market leaders in the redevelopment of primary care facilities procured under the Government’s LIFT initiative. He is currently responsible for the John Laing/Serco/Laing O’Rourke joint-venture on the £700m Leicester hospitals PFI project.
Prior to joining John Laing, David was the General Manager for the Channel Tunnel Rail Link project during construction of the section through Kent. Prior to this he was the Technical Director for Lusoponte during the design and construction of the US$1bn Vasco da Gama bridge in Lisbon.
Andrew is a Director of John Laing Social Infrastructure with overall responsibility for bidding. He is a qualified engineer and MBA and has been working in the project finance and PFI markets since 1998. His previous experience, both in the UK and South East Asia, with leading companies, including Skanska, Mott MacDonald and Bovis Lend Lease, spans funding, bidding and procuring in the civils, health, education and regeneration sectors. Andrew joined John Laing in 2003. Until early 2007 he was seconded to Regenter - John Laing's joint-venture for regeneration and housing projects - as the Chief Executive.
Tim is the Managing Director of Equion Facilities Management and a non-Executive Director of John Laing Social Infrastructure. He joined the Group in 2004. Tim formerly held Managing Director positions in Hays and Reliance. Tim’s previous roles include Management Consultancy and Group Operations Director within Local Government and multi-site Manufacturing and Service industry companies.
John is a Director of John Laing Social Infrastructure and Chief Executive of Primary Plus, the Group’s joint-venture to participate in the NHS LIFT initiative. He is responsible for spearheading the company’s growth plans in the primary and social healthcare market. John joined the Group in November 2005 from Aramark, where he was latterly Managing Director of their healthcare and defence business.
He has extensive experience in public sector projects and has been involved in the Private Finance Initiative since its inception in the early 1990s. John’s previous roles include heading up the FM business at Jarvis and Managing Director of Government Services at Sodehxo.
